(i) History of the Cooperative movement and
cooperatives today – Origins of Cooperative – Cooperative Governance – Type of
Cooperatives, Retailers’ Cooperatives, Worker Cooperatives, Volunteer
Cooperatives, Social Cooperatives, Consumer’s cooperatives, Business &
employment cooperatives, New generation Cooperatives, and Housing Cooperatives.
(ii) Agricultural Cooperative – Farmers’
Cooperative – Supply Cooperative.
(iii) Historical perspective of Cooperative
movement in Pakistan.
(iv) The Co-operative Societies Act, 1925 and
the Co-operative Societies Rules, 1927 which were made under Co-operative
Societies Act, 1925 (Act VII of 1925).

MARKS
Pass Marks in written examination:
a. 33% marks in each individual paper.
b. 50% marks in the aggregate of written a portion of examination (0.50 marks or more will be rounded to 1.0).
Only those candidates, who qualify for the written examination will be called for a Psychological test and viva voce.
